cc_image-10WATKINS GLEN/ELMIRA, NY – For the seventh year, Catholic Charities’ Emergency Services Programs will participate in The Feinstein Foundation’s Million Dollar Challenge to fight hunger. During the next two months (March & April 2014), all donations to Schuyler Outreach Food Pantry in Watkins Glen or the Samaritan Center in Elmira will increase our share of a million dollar fund. These donations can include cash, checks and food items (valued at $1.00 per item or pound). This is your opportunity to give back to your local community while stretching every dollar with the help of the Feinstein Foundation. It is our promise that a donation to Schuyler Outreach stays in Schuyler County and gifts to the Samaritan Center stay in Chemung County.

Each day, over 100 individuals visit our food pantries (Schuyler Outreach or the Samaritan Center).

Monetary donations for Schuyler Outreach can be mailed in and food items may be brought in to Schuyler Outreach at 112 Tenth St, Watkins Glen, NY 14891 between 9am and 4pm, Monday – Friday. Monetary donations for the Samaritan Center can be mailed to 215 E Church St, Elmira, NY 14901 or food items can be dropped off at 380 S Main St, Elmira, NY 14904 between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday – Friday.
