WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. – Corning Incorporated Foundation has entered a third year of partnering with Catholic Charities of Schuyler County to financially support capacity building efforts at the local level. This money will support fundraising and growth efforts for Schuyler Outreach, Schuyler County’s primary network of eight food pantries.

Corning Incorporated Foundation’s partnership with Catholic Charities is part of an effort to help bridge the funding gap caused by the pullback of federal funds. The community support has been tremendous as Catholic Charities fights the effects of poverty in Schuyler County.

On average, 338 families rely on assistance from Schuyler Outreach food pantries each month. The need is very real in Schuyler County. If you or your civic organization, church, club or business would like to learn more about how you can help, please contact Catholic Charities of Schuyler County at 607-535-2050 or visit our volunteer page.
