Catholic Charities held their Second Annual Garden Soiree on Friday, June 19, at Lakewood Vineyards. This successful fundraiser raised over $12,000 through silent and live auctions as well as ticket sales and sponsorships. These funds will support Catholic Charities’ efforts to end local poverty; increase self-sufficiency and help individuals & families grow and prosper.
Guests enjoyed the music of The Sweats and An Artist’s Depiction. We celebrated the beauty of summertime and the good work that Catholic Charities does all year long.
The evening’s success is attributed to the following community-minded individuals & businesses: Corning Dental Associates, Dr. John Carozza, Mr. David Bartone, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Schamel, Sr., Corning Catering, Inc., Lakewood Vineyards, Mrs. Kathy Cole, Plenty of Posies, Mr. Curt Connelly, An Artist’s Depiction, BMS Manufacturing, Chemung Canal Trust Company, Mr. Tom Curren, Mrs. Joanne McLaine, Ms. Heather O’Grady-Evans, Mrs. Sue Randall, Mr. William Vaughn-Russell, Mrs. Mary Wilson, Catholic Charities’ Staff, Board of Directors and the Schuyler Advisory Board. Thank you all for your support.
