Catholic Charities of Chemung and Schuyler Counties is thrilled to announce the success of their Havana Nights Gala that took place on April 6th at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel. 235 guests joined Catholic Charities for a Party with a Purpose, raising just under $40,000. These funds will be used to support Catholic Charities’ essential safety net, serving the most vulnerable adults and children in our community.

Havana Nights’ success was made possible by our amazing staff, volunteers, board and charitable community members. Special thanks to our Presenting sponsor, The Hilliard Corporation, and our Entertainment Sponsors, Empower FCU and Wegmans. The evening also honored Catholic Charities’ Philanthropist of the Year, Dr. John Carozza. Dr. Carozza has supported Catholic Charities for over ten years, serving on the Schuyler Advisory Board and Board of Directors. He has been a champion for the agency and truly exemplifies what it means to be a kind, hardworking and inspiring human being.
