Catholic Charities’ Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) in cooperation with the New York State Long Term Care Ombudsman Program and iCircle, under the direction of NYConnects Long Term Care Council, will be holding a Volunteer Fair Event on Thursday, September 26, 2019. The Volunteer Fair will be held at the Watkins Glen Performing Arts Center (906 N. Decatur St, Watkins Glen) from 11:00 am until 5:30 pm.

The Volunteer Fair will be a showcase for volunteer opportunities and an informative session for businesses (both for-profit and non-profit). It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the leaders of local organizations and businesses that are looking for volunteers. This is a free event for anyone looking to expand their horizons through volunteering.

Sue Larson, RSVP Director, stated, “The Volunteer Fair hopes to accomplish an introduction to volunteering in a relaxed environment, no pressure, just information. We invite all current volunteers and potential volunteers to come and check out our community partners that have volunteer opportunities. It’s important to see what is out there, find something you are passionate about and get involved in helping your community. There are so many benefits to volunteering!”
