What does home mean to you?
Home is a big hug just off the school bus,
A home cooked meal,
A hot shower,
And a warm bed on a bitterly cold night.
Home is love without judgement. It is hope that says, no matter how many times you fall, someone cares enough to continue to help you on your journey to success.
Catholic Charities’ Second Place East Homeless Shelter was “home” to over 330 adults and children last year.
We are a necessary support for families that have lost everything. No matter the reason: job loss, health issues, drug addiction, domestic violence, etc., we won’t give up. At Catholic Charities, we know success doesn’t happen overnight. And for those that want our help, we will be there to help them back on their feet and guide them to long-term self-sufficiency.
We ask for your help in this effort, to continue to provide “home” to so many local children and their parents. Thank you for your time and commitment.
Please consider a gift today to help local families create a better life for their children.
On behalf of Catholic Charities, we wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year.
All the best,
Chuck Nocera, Executive Director &
